Fresh, crispy, hydrating lettuce leaves are the perfect complement to roasted spicy sweet potatoes in this recipe. These lettuce wraps are delicious while also being full of nutrients. This recipe is made without any fats such as oil or butter, which makes it even more healing. These wraps are great for a light meal or a snack anytime of day.
Sweet potatoes are also important for regulating hair growth; they stimulate it where needed and prohibit hair when it tries to grow in the wrong places, as in the condition hirsutism.

Spicy Sweet Potato Lettuce Wraps

Preheat oven to 400F/200C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the sweet potato, lime juice, cayenne, ground cumin, ground coriander, and raw honey or maple syrup. Toss until well combined.
Transfer the sweet potato mixture to the baking sheet and roast in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until tender when pierced with a fork.
Remove from oven and cool slightly.
Arrange lettuce leaves on a platter or plates. Top with roasted sweet potato, cilantro, and spring onion and drizzle with raw honey and lime juice. Serve immediately.
