Enjoy these Sweet and Savory Kabobs one of three ways: raw, dehydrated, or roasted. With a sweet and savory marinade, these kabobs make a great finger food, side, or snack. They are fun to serve and enjoy with family and friends at home or at a picnic, barbecue, or backyard gathering.

Sweet & Savory Kabobs
Ingredients:
Marinade:
Directions:
Soak the wooden skewers in water for 15 to 30 minutes (skip this step if making raw kabobs).
Arrange the chopped kabob ingredients on the skewers and place in containers or on baking sheets. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk together all the marinade ingredients until smooth. Brush each skewer liberally with the marinade. Marinate for at least 3 hours or, ideally, overnight.
If making raw skewers, serve as is or dehydrate at 115°F/46°C for 2 to 3 hours.
If roasting, preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C and arrange the skewers on a baking sheet. Roast for 10 to 12 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Serve immediately.
*For the mushrooms, wash and rinse thoroughly with warm to hot water before using. Do not use slimy or decaying mushrooms. That’s a sign of oxidizing and aging.
